On December 16, 2008 at the Sequoia Solar headquarters in Solana Beach, CA, we installed one of the World’s First Solar Powered Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. Solar powered hybrid and electric car charging stations are an excellent option for solar power system installations where there may be limiting factors concerning existing building roof size, shading, roof age, etc. As the price of oil continues to rise, and as environmental consciousness continues to expand, more and more tenants and customers are demanding the availability of electric vehicle charging stations where they shop, work, and play.
