The Browns moved into their new home and wanted to add clean, green, solar power to their concrete tile roof. With only one month of electricity usage history in their new home, sizing the system to properly offset an entire year of electricity usage posed a challenge. The Browns worked closely with Sequoia Solar to look at the electricity bills from their previous residence in order to get an accurate look at what their new yearly power usage would be. Sequoia Solar then created a ratio that compared the available living area of the new residence to the usage at their old residence. Based on this information, Sequoia Solar recommended a 4.7kW solar system that offset about 97% of the Brown’s electricity usage. Last month they paid just $0.89 to the utility company!

“When I moved here from England in 1989 I could not understand why all the houses in California were not already powered by solar. My wife came to me with the idea of installing solar with Sequoia. The service they provided was everything they promised and all the people at Sequoia Solar were fantastic!”
