City of Palm Desert funds the EIP with $9 Million for 2010!
Energy Efficiency is now within your grasp! On February 8th, 2010, the City of Palm Desert began accepting applications for a new phase of the Energy Independence Program (EIP), which is back with $9 million of funding for 2010. EIP allows property owners to apply for a loan for any energy efficient measure which is permanently attached to the property, including photovoltaic (solar) panels, high efficiency heating and air conditioning systems, efficient pool pumps, windows, and much more.
